Here are some photos I just did this weekend. For not knowing me at all, Miss T and I got along great! I hope Grandma, Grandpa and Dad love them!

Hank w/Santa

This is the pic that made the cut for our family Christmas card.....if only he were a real Santa. I know Hank would never look this sweet in a "Santa" picture so here is my substitute!

Just another close up-

Skirts

I have these skirts in sizes Small (2-4) and Medium (4-6). A friend of mine from work is 1st on the list for pics in them. Let me know if you want to give it a shot.

Just a Bear....

Here's a few photos I was using as "practice." I was trying to get everthing ready to shoot Hank for our Christmas card. The "lion" and the "bear" are supposed to be newborn babies.......I know, it's a little far fetched. It was kind of fun though.

BTW, these are unedited for the most part.

One More

This picture really captures who Hank is right now. I will always be able to look at this and remember how he hated to get his hands dirty. He was playing by the pond and kept getting wet grass on his hands.

A Day at the Park

What I learned from these photos:

1. I'm beginning to think my own child might be the one who will be the hardest to photograph.

2. Watch out for morning dew.

3. Get down on their level and in front of them for the best shot.

The Goal

I finally decided I had paid other people enough money to take picture of my child. I've seen lots of great and not-so-great work from many photographers. One day I just decided to try it on my own. This is a total work in progress, but I am hoping to get started taking more and more pictures. Most of the people I'm associated with would be thrilled to have some photos at a decent price.....maybe their kids will be on here next.

My first "shoot" was Hank (he's mine) at the pumpkin patch. I took 50 pics in less than 30 minutes and these two were my faves. There was one more where he was trying to pick up a pumpkin, but I couldn't edit the shadows out enough to get the look I wanted.
