It's Been Awhile

I'm still here. Here are some recent photos of my little one from the zoo (a great place for photos if you are up for walking) this week. I feel like I captured the wonder in his eyes as we walked around and looked at all of his favorite animals. I was actually using him to practice with one of my lenses and getting that "blurry" look in the background. He's a snuggly little boy even still, just as the baby and mama giraffe in the last picture.

I do have a couple of things planned this month before I have the baby. My new niece was born Wednesday so I'm hoping to get some pics of her and working on a few new ideas for my own newborn photo shoot:)

Family Time

This was my first multiple family shoot involving lots of little people and big ones too! I just LOVE that grandmother picture with her grandbabies.......my mom is going to be jealous!! Enjoy your preview--sorry for the wait:)

My Little Family

I can't exactly take all of the credit for these great shots....I had a little help (obviously, since I'm in them). We got Joel to be behind the camera and Molly to be the entertainment while we were on our beach vacation. Thanks guys, we owe you!! We pay in pictures:)

Once we got home, I did all of the editing work on these to get what I wanted out of each shot though. I longer have to be jealous of other people's family pictures! Next up, we'll have to include our new little one just in time for some Christmas photos. We might need to fly them out here to help us out again.

Cute Kids!

These are for Lesley while she's on vacation! I hope you get to show them off while you are gone. Her little man is the cutest thing and makes me want to meet my own new baby:) Big sister was super cooperative and very photogenic!

Hank and More Cousin Fun

This weekend we did Hank's 3 year pictures as well as some pictures with him and his cousin, Garrett. I think they turned out pretty good!

What a little model he is.......especially for hating to have his picture made!

Nothing like a little sword fighting to get you in the mood!

Family Session Practice

If you are interested in a free session for your family, please email me! I'm offering this session sometime in July as a way to get in some more practice while I have some time off. We will be on a family vacation at the end of July and busy several weekends in August.....so I would like to get it done before then.

A good friend of mine suggested a nice, cool indoor location that I would like to try out. I can give you information on this if you are interested.

I'll update this post when the session has been filled and the details have been arranged.

Cousins

The grandma of these cute little ones requested a picture of all three while they were all together. I think we got some! They were AWESOME and very cooperative. We were done in less than a hour. Hope she likes them--
